Stuyvesant Heights EArly Learning Center

This project consisted of the renovation of a fire ravaged chapel into a community center in Brooklyn. OCV served as architect and general contractor in the organizing of ‘sweat equity’ volunteers from the congregation to execute construction of this multi-level steel and concrete facility.

Today the space provides daycare, youth and senior services for the community.

The Stuyvesant Heights project earned an AIA award for Excellence in Educational Facilities Design.
