Van Brunt Street Apartments

This raised three-story new construction brings 21 one and two-bedroom apartments to the flood prone neighborhood of Red Hook in Brooklyn.

By raising the building on piers, the design not only meets the Flood Resilience Amendment enacted after Hurricane Sandy, but allows for a space-efficient way of creating 14 parking spots beneath it, a welcome amenity for this more isolated area of NYC.
